Hi Victor, sorry for the inconvenience I've caused you. Roxio DVD Creator 6
Platinum gives problems according to those whom I know who installed it, that's
why I didn't mention the platinum edition in my message because I simply don't
use the platinum edition. its why I was offering you a copy of the one that
works for me. But do accept my humblest apologies. Thank you.

Hi folks,

I am using Jaws 7 with Xp Pro and Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.

Every time I start the program, it lands me in the tree view, but it
doesn't tell me what the tree view items are. All it reports is that it's
closed.

If I arrow up and down, Jaws says closed, closed and closed.

Does anyone know of what I can do to make CD creator 5 more accessible?

I have the scripts installed and have compiled both the application script
file and the default file, but still no joy.

I used to be able to flow through the tree view easily and know exactly
where I was at all times, but like I said, no joy anymore.

Any help would be appreciated.

Victor

[JAWS-Users] Re: Roxio Help

2007-04-18 Thread Cathy Boynton

I'd like to know also if there is a quicker way, all I can say is I try to
remember where to go by remembering the numbers as I arrow down, then doing a
tab it will say either combo box or list view or tree view, I find my music
eventually but would like a quicker way!

 Hi David,

Thanks for your suggestion, however, Jaws doesn't read Local Disk C
closed, as is the case with most tree views.

As I said in my message, when I go through the tree view, all I get is
 the
word closed. Once I press the right arrow to open the particular folder,
all it says is open and nothing else.

 I can't navigate as I don't know where I'm going. You'd think I was
 blind...LOL.

Anyway, like I said, I can't imagine why this is doing this.

 Victor

 John,

The control panel should be in your start menu. It might be under
settings, but should be listed there someplace.
It may also be listed in the My Computer.
Once you get to the control panel, you will probably want to tab to,
switch to classic view and press your spacebar.

Are you talking about what drive your CD goes in or what drive to
install XP to?
If it is the CD, you would normally put that in the D drive.
If it the installation, the C drive is where it should be installed to.

Cathy -

Assuming that you have your display settings correctly configured, have
you checked to see if there are new display drivers available for your
video adapter card?

I'm not sure where you are typing in, d:\.
When you put in the XP upgrade CD, it should automatically start the
installation.
