Goto to your options pane (Alt-T O). In Outlook 2003 you will arrive on a button 'Email Options' hit space.
Now hit 'Alt-E' (Read all messages in plain text format' Hit enter a couple of times and you should be set. Now I don't know if you will like this option or not. Email in Outlook comes in three formats: 1. Plain text 2. HTML 3. RTF Jaws handles options 1 & 2 very well but has some problems with RTF also confusing is that there is another option in another portion of JAWS that specifies if RTF mail should be read in Outlook or Word. Personally I prefer when read in Outlook, but I have found some tables lock up JAWS/Outlook with Outlook using all CPU). And yes I have asked Freedom Scientific about this, but they were of little help since 1. I am using JAWS 7.1 2. I was able to prevent the lock-up by reading e-mails in RTF using the word option. I however have found that I can't distinguish links when using the word option.
