I upgraded to WMP11 but was already using JAWS8 when i did so. It works fine, though some minor things are configured a little differently and there is extra DRM protection over WMP10 (I believe). Carlene, My work computer somehow installed Windows Media player version 11 during an upgrade and I've had no problems. As you, I was hesitant to upgrade based on what I had heard. I will upgrade at home too. I am running Win XP Pro and JAWS 8.
