Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws and Yahoo messenger

 Hi list,
Is Jaws 8 able to be used okay with Yahoo messenger? I think I remember a
while ago, that some list members were having issues with it. I am
currently using windows live, which most people still call MSN. I thought
I remembered reading, that Windows live, was meant to allow users to
interact with people using Yahoo. Is this true. I have some friends on
Yahoo, and it would be nice to chat with them without having to sign up
 with Yahoo messenger.
 thanks Jason

You could try opening the PDF file with something like TextPal or converting
it with PDF2TXT. Also, I believe if you send your PDF file as an attachment

Subject: Super anti spyware.

Hi.

I've recently downloaded super anti spyware and I'm wondering if it's ok to
have it in the system tray. I have AVG scheduled to scan every day, and I've
done weekly scans using the super anti spyware programme by opening it up from
the system tray. I haven't set it to scan automatically like AVG, but I'm just
wondering if it's ok to have the 2 programmes in the system tray from start up?

I'd be grateful for anyone's opinion on this.

Thanks.

 Subject: Super anti spyware.

 Hi.

I've recently downloaded super anti spyware and I'm wondering if it's ok
to have it in the system tray. I have AVG scheduled to scan every day,
and I've done weekly scans using the super anti spyware programme by
opening it up from the system tray. I haven't set it to scan
automatically like AVG, but I'm just wondering if it's ok to have the 2
programmes in the system tray from start up?

I'd be grateful for anyone's opinion on this.

 Thanks.

Hi Marie, several things. It could be a problem with Googlemail (will check
your settings in a minute). It could also be a problem with the list itself.
I sometimes get duplicate messages, but I just delete each message I receive

 Hi list,
Is Jaws 8 able to be used okay with Yahoo messenger? I think I remember a
while ago, that some list members were having issues with it. I am
currently using windows live, which most people still call MSN. I thought
I remembered reading, that Windows live, was meant to allow users to
interact with people using Yahoo. Is this true. I have some friends on
Yahoo, and it would be nice to chat with them without having to sign up
 with Yahoo messenger.
 thanks Jason

There are wonderful jaws scripts for yahoo messenger,
 for Jaws 7 and 8.
After installing them, Now I have full access to it
 using Jaws 8, and
personally, I even prefer using yahoo than windows
 live... Perhaps David or
someone has the link to the scripts, sorry, I can't
 find it...
You may want to give it a try!

[JAWS-Users] word 2003 question

2008-04-21 Thread carla jo
I grabbed the keyboard commands that are on the tips and tricks page. I can't
figure out how to get to the lines and spacing menu in word 2003. According to
the spread sheet it might be ctrl and 5, but I'm not sure if I'm reading that
table correctly. I thought it was under paragraph, but I am lost. All I want
to do is double space my document.

Re: [JAWS-Users] word 2003 question

2008-04-21 Thread Greg
Hello CJ,
All you should have to do is go to your format menu, arrow down to paragraph
and once you hit enter on paragraph it should be the first dialog box that
opens up. If lines and spacing isnt the first one to pop up then press
control tab till you hear lines and spacing.
Hope this helps,
Greg W.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] word 2003 question

I grabbed the keyboard commands that are on the tips and tricks page. I
can't figure out how to get to the lines and spacing menu in word 2003.
According to the spread sheet it might be ctrl and 5, but I'm not sure if
I'm reading that table correctly. I thought it was under paragraph, but I
am lost. All I want to do is double space my document.
