Re: [JAWS-Users] I need help with outlook express please?
Hi KK, You can virtualize the window with insert+control+W, which will allow you to move through the window, then copy the line, that should be further down the page. If you find yourself on one of the buttons, keep tabbing and you'll eventually get to the error message. Re: [JAWS-Users] I need help with outlook express please?
No I sent the email, but I kept getting this error message every time, but when I sent a single track as an attachment, it went ok. Now I don't get error messages when I'm sending ordinary emails, but as I said before, the attachments are giving me problems. I'm waiting to hear if Rangs got my attachments yesterday. I got into my sent folder and found that I sent six attachments, but when I looked into my outbox, they were still there. This sounds rather confusing doesn't it? - Original Message - From: Denny Huff [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Thursday, August 07, 2008 11:42 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] I need help with outlook express please? Re: [JAWS-Users] problems with outlook express
I'm Sorry Stewart, but this is not possible. You see, Googlemail, or any provider that uses Googlemail, will not show you messages you've sent to the lists by default. This is to prevent spammers from faking e-mail headers to make you believe it comes from you. What you do by enabling recent mode is download any messages from Googlemail's all mail folder, hence you not only receiving your own copy of messages, but also receiving messages you've sent to the lists. There's just no way around it I'm afraid, unless you set up another e-mail account like Hotmail. I personally like recent mode, but to each their own I guess. -- Chris Hallsworth Derbyshire, UK E-mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] MSN [EMAIL PROTECTED] Skype chrishallsworth7266 Website http://www.chrishallsworth.co.nr Klango chrishallsworth FTP ftp://chrishallsworth.dyndns.org - Original Message - From: stewart turner [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Thursday, August 07, 2008 4:03 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] problems with outlook express hi i am having big problems with my outlook express ok hear we go wenever i send an email to anyone i am getting a coppy of that email sent back to me even though the person in question has got the email that i sent them my isp is sky, the only emails i want to be able to receive are ones from people who send me ones, and ones that i send out to lists. also does sky use googlemail? in the name field in outlook express my name is displayed but b4 that it was suggested for me to type recent: followed by my name, if i take this recent: thing off, and just have my name displayed in the name field of the servers tab within outlook express, i don't get any messages coming from any groups that i have sent out, and i can't even send myself a message. so any suggestions or ideas would be most helpful thanks. Hi all: I'm wondering if any of you on this list are using the Windows Live One Care package with Jaws? I just downloaded a demo, and it looks to be fairly usable, but I'm encountering one problem this far in the menus: in the settings under the viruses and spyware tab, there appears to be an option for advanced settings, but I can't seem to click on it or make that part of the menu open at all. Maybe it's not even a part of the menu, but Jaws reads advanced settings all the same. I need to route my Jaws cursor to PC in order to see it, as is needed with some of the interface anyway, but it does read as such. Take care, and thanks for any help/clarification anyone might be able to give me. Check with your ISP on how big a file you can send in an attachment. If they are sitting in the outbox, press control-M to try to push them out. [JAWS-Users] Free internet tutorial for download.
After long and careful consideration, I have made my Internet tutorial available as a free download. No support will be given and no further upgrades will be made. If people want to work with me for a fee, contact me and we'll discuss it. My prices are more than reasonable. I have made the tutorial available as a free download for two reasons: First, there was not enough interest to justify me doing more work on it to keep it current. It is still very relevant and will remain so for a long time but if I were still charging for it, I would have added new information, such as information about Webvisum and some basic information about using firefox. The second reason the tutorial is now free is because I deeply believe that Internet access is vital to the blind community and the skills needed to use the Internet are not well known nor are they often well taught. I don't want the more than one-hundred hours I put into the tutorial to go to waste and I want to do something about the state of poor Internet use found among most blind Internet users. Unfortunately, the blind community gets, or doesn't get, what it supports or doesn't support. Since there was not anywhere near enough sustained interest in the tutorial as an item to be purchased, I am unlikely to produce more tutorials in the future. I would advise those in the blind Internet community to consider that much valuable material may be lost, not just from me, but from many others who might provide it because of lack of support for such work. A high quality tutorial of this type is generally not going to be produced for free. It requires far too much work and time. Here are two download links. File sharing sites often have temporary problems. If one doesn't work, try the other. http://www.divshare.com/download/5046375-ece http://www.filesend.net/download.php?f=b2fbfd6ebe599f5a9308c4d55084f2c4 The Filesend link may be the easiest and more reliable of the two. Try that link first. Look for the button near the bottom of the page to start the download. It may say download button or just the word button. It may have some code along with the word button but it's the only button near the bottom of the page. It is very important to read the first two sections of the readme file before using the tutorial. Gene! It's working the other link.. - Original Message - From: Lisa [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Thursday, August 07, 2008 6:41 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Free internet tutorial for download. Re: [JAWS-Users] narrator not speaking?
Hello, try running narrator while another screen-reader like jaws is running, and tell the error comes. another thing to be noted: narrator has only 2 files: narrator.exe and narhook.dll so no easy chance to corruption, so go into your speech settings in ctrl panel, on the text-to-speech page, see if the voices installed are speaking or not, when you arrow up or down to select one, if not, talk back to me. [JAWS-Users] Jody software?
Hello everyone. Well finally got the problem fixed. There was just a little glitch to my account settings, but does anyone have any information or knows about this software I've been advised to get called Jody? if so, is it jaws friendly. I'm just wanting to know, so I can decide whether to download it or not. It came from my internet provider who said that it is some kind of trouble shooting software. Your help would be most appreciated. kk. If practise makes perfect, and nobody is perfect, why practice!
