Sure. MSAA stands for Microsoft Active Accessibility, and is a form of

Hi Mostafa,
I would imagine there wouldn't be any disadvantages in using lots of
scripts because scripts are designed to make programs or parts of programs
more accessible. Unfortunately, even programs like word and outlook need
scripts. freedomscientific build them into jaws so we can use those
programs without any problems.
I use skype, and with no scripts, it is quite useable. However, I have the
skype scripts. if you don't have these, the skype scripts make the options
menu more accessible. Skype is useable without scripts because of
something called MSAA support. I don't know what that stands for. if
someone knows, maybe you could tell us?

Re: [JAWS-Users] am sorry everybody

2008-10-22 Thread Chris Hallsworth
Perhaps this should be brought to the attention of Freedom Scientific. I in
fact did state that the languages option was removed since FS started to use
Windows Installer technology to deploy JAWS, which started with JAWS 7.1.

good morning everybody:

it was about certain point of JAWS installation.
after checked the checkbox of freedomscientific license agreement,
JAWS has two choices of installation type.
first: typical installation.
second: custom installation.
according to the rules of managing my own settings, am choosing the
custome as usually.
the problem in this particular point.
while am going to toggle between several features and options,
including browse button if would like to install JAWS in a diffrent

toggle between languages synthesized speach.
it the same eloquencespeach synthesizer, but it only used when the
customer speak another language: such as french, jyrmen, spanish,
italian etc.
there is ten languages located in the synthesizer language submenu.
but actually,: i've nevered used one of those.

Re: [JAWS-Users] folders and tree view

2008-10-22 Thread Tim
Under your View menu, you have several options for how to display your
folders. If the List option is checked, it will display them in a vertical
column. If the Icons option is checked it will display them in a row so you
can navigate through them using your right and left arrows.

Perhaps this should be brought to the attention of Freedom Scientific.
I in fact did state that the languages option was removed since FS
started to use Windows Installer technology to deploy JAWS, which
started with JAWS 7.1. It's never been reinstated since.

good morning everybody:
am so sorry that i posted an emty message.
so: i'll type it again.
it was about certain point of JAWS installation.
after checked the checkbox of freedomscientific license agreement,
JAWS has two choices of installation type.
first: typical installation.
second: custom installation.
according to the rules of managing my own settings, am choosing the
custome as usually.
the problem in this particular point.
while am going to toggle between several features and options,
including browse button if would like to install JAWS in a diffrent
folder, the most necessary issue doesn't existed
toggle between languages synthesized speach.
it the same eloquencespeach synthesizer, but it only used when
the

customer speak another language: such as french, jyrmen, spanish,
italian etc.
there is ten languages located in the synthesizer language submenu.
but actually,: i've nevered used one of those.
am only using american english speach synthesizer and that's enough
for me.

unfortunately: i couldn't remove another languages wich stored in
location that has been mentioned at the moment.
any suggest for that issue, would be appreciated.

Sure. MSAA stands for Microsoft Active Accessibility, and is a form of
technology that makes access to software possible when used with screen

Hi Mostafa,
I would imagine there wouldn't be any disadvantages in using lots of
scripts because scripts are designed to make programs or parts of
programs more accessible. Unfortunately, even programs like word and
outlook need scripts. freedomscientific build them into jaws so we can
use those programs without any problems.
I use skype, and with no scripts, it is quite useable. However, I have
the skype scripts. if you don't have these, the skype scripts make the
options menu more accessible. Skype is useable without scripts because of
something called MSAA support. I don't know what that stands for. if
someone knows, maybe you could tell us?
