In my experience, with the free addition of AVG, you're not able to schedule
a time, your only able to run it manually. But I could be wrong.

made it work, but I had to use the jaws curser the entire time.
I can't figure out how to schedule it to run at a certain time. Am I doing

[JAWS-Users] Talking installer 9

I switched to jaws 10 long time ago.
On my control panel, I have both talking installer 9 and ditto 10.
Can I safely uninstall installer 9?
After all it takes several megabits of space.
Thanks in advance.

[JAWS-Users] acessible recoverry software for windows vista

2009-04-19 Thread Marvin Hunkin
Hi.
tried looking on the internet, tried 2 or 3 undelete and recovery software.
but do not work well with jaws.
what i want to do is to undelete and recover deleted files from my 2 gb
flash drive.
got a toshiba a 300 satellite, running jaws 10.142, internet explorer 7,
windows vista home premium.
either the interface is not very accessible, or it seems to take forever,
and one software i tried, would not let me know close, and kept scanning,
and would have been waiting days for the scan to complete.
so, does any one know of any good accessible software to recover my files
from my formatted flash drive and to get them back.
do not want bells and wistles.
all i want is to select my flash drive which is drive: e:, click scan, then
wait to have the files find and then recover to my flash drive.
is that too simple or am i dreaming.
if any one has had the exact situation, how did you fix that and what
software did you use.
any links would be appreciated.
cheers Marvin.

Hi Kerry. The next thing you need to do is repair Jaws. This will fix
all

of the problems in JFW. I say you need to do that because you've done
everything that needs to be done. Hope this helps.

Hi guys,

I have a friend who somehow seems to have messed up his JFW and I can't
figure this one out.
For some reason, his JFW switches to Castilian Spanish whenever he enters
Microsoft word.
I've tried changing the synthesiser language with the insert control+l ke
stroke. I've tried turning off language detection.

I know it's probably something very straightforward, but I just can't seem
to work it out.

Any thoughts?

[JAWS-Users] toshiba satellite problems

2009-04-19 Thread Marvin Hunkin
HI.
on my toshiba, there are slider controls, one to mute which i found out.
now, for somne stupid reason, cannot listen to audio streams using windows
vista using windows media player, either get an error saying my computer
memeory is low, or getting an error saying that the file could not play.
went to the abc online, and got a error message saying the media service is
having technical diffuclties.
and did download the real tech audio drivers and installed them.
and when i go to stephen jolleys site to listen to afl, and get that pop up
media player, the audio does not start playing.
any ideas.
this problem started yesterday, when jaws crashed, was able to listen to
five aa port v hawthorn via the stephen jolley site, and found that the
volume was muted.
using a satellite a 300 psa g4a.
would upgrading to windows media 12, fix this problem.
using windows vista home premium.
cheers Marvin.
