Ken it's not software, despite the fact you can use so called Twitter
clients. The absolute minimum you need is a web browser being able to
display the site correctly, which both latest Internet Explorer and
Firefox

and obviously a Twitter account.

I know that in the ACB radio interactive's home page I can get the

[JAWS-Users] Creating a horizontal line

2009-05-12 Thread Francis E. Khan
I posted a query on how to do this and Brian Lee suggested a way to do this.
However, there is an easier way.

In Microsoft Word - I use Office 2003 - go to the layout page and click on
borders. The first thing you see is "none". When you press the tab key you
will hear "single solid line". Press the tab key until you hear "horizontal
line ..." and press the enter key. Then press the tab key and when you get to
the okay button, hit the enter key and you are done.

To save time, create a macro to do this.

  Hello Francis,

One quick way to insert a horizontal line in Word 2007 is to type four or
five dashes or underlines on a blank line and then press the enter key.
This produces a bottom paragraph border that appears just like a horizontal
line. You could then write a macro and assign a keystroke to the process.
It sure seems to me that there use to be a keystroke for inserting a
horizontal line in Word but I can't find it. Perhaps it was a different
program I'm thinking about that had the keystroke. You could also add the
bottom border as a quick part and use it like autotext, but just typing four
or five dashes or underlines and then an enter key is a fairly quick way to
  insert a line.

  Take care.

Hi Rangs,
The non-permanent way is to press Jawskey Plus Numrow2 until you hear none
among the choices for "Key Echo".

You can also make the same changes permanent by:
1. Opening configuration Manager with JawsKey plus Numrow 6 or choosing it
from the JawsKey Plus F2 Managers list.
2. Press Control plus shift plus d to open the default configuration file as
you want this setting in all situations.
3. Press Alt Plus S and then enter for User Options.
4. Press Tab until you hear Typing Echo.
5. Select the radio button for none and press enter.
6.Save your changes with Control Plus S and Exit with Alt Plus f4.

Jon

Sorry for not being more explicit. I meant saying everysingle thing. I
need to stop it reading back to me as I type. Every single character.
