Re: [JAWS-Users] Desktop Icons
I don't know how many icons one should have on their desktop. What I have done is put some into folders to move things along faster. Think o fthe ones you will need and go that way. [JAWS-Users] Jaws says temporary when loading web page
Hey everybody, I'm running Jaws 9 with I.E. 7. I'm curious as to why Jaws is saying "temporary" nearly every time it loads a web page. Also, how do I restore the I.E. JCF file to the factory default settings? Re: [JAWS-Users] IE8 & IE7
I restored my computer to the correct time, I then ran IE 8 and I get this message: "How to fix the drive letter access and internet explorer 8 incompatibility problem." That statement is followed by "Parent document button." Clicking on that does nothing. Opening a new tabb, such as facebook, will give me the first line of that window followed by "open parent document buttton." I do not know what else to do except remove I E 8 and go back to I E 7. I would like to use I E 8. [JAWS-Users] Sappy 5 Tom voice
Just wanted to say thanks for all the responses I got about the Sappy 5 voice Tom. I, too, don't care to much for it for reading, however, I find it quite nice and pleasant to listen to when playing games. I found out Tom came on the Jaws 7 Real Speak CD, unfortunately I must have misplaced it and the Real Speak voices that came with Jaws 10 & 11 were replaced with Sappy 4 voices. I'm trying Next Up to see if I can purchase it from them. Thanks to all of you for your help. It is greatly appreciated. Re: [JAWS-Users] IE8 & IE7
That is because IE8 is still there in parts. Instead of doing a restore. You should have went into add/remove programs and removed it that way. Because it would of reverted back to IE7 with no problems. Try to see if you can get windows update to work and put IE8 back on. If you have firefox on the box see if you can go to microsoft.com Download IE8 and then put it on, and then remove it the right way. There is just so much of IE that is part of the system its not funny. At 06:49 PM 2/17/2010, you wrote: Hello: I am using jaws9 and windows xp. I downloaded I e 8 but it was not compatible with jaws.
