[JAWS-Users] Request please, for the f t p download link for the norton antivirus removal tool 2009 version.

2010-03-15 Thread Albert Cutolo

Good morning everyone:

Could the person on the list who provided the link too the f t p download
page for the Norton antivirus removal tool, please repost it again, as I
seem to have accidentally forgot to put it in to my helpful hints folder,
which I should have done as soon as I received those instructions in the
first place? I also, want to apologize too both the person that I requested
this from yesterday, and for posting his name on the list for the program,
as well as an apology too the Moderators of this list as well.
I very much hope, that my mistake hasn't, caused the both of you to have
hurt feelings, as that was never my intention to do so. It was indeed, very
bad list edicate, and it won't happen again.

[JAWS-Users] Jaws and Cerner

2010-03-15 Thread Mireille Lavoie
Hi all, I am new and I am very happy to be able to reach out to you in my
quest! I would like to know if someone knows if Jaws is compatible with
Cerner,. Like they say on there website, Cerner Millennium is a healthcare
information technology computing platform helping health professionals
elevate safety, quality and efficiency. Which I think means it is a program
they use in hospital to take notes, eliminating the need of paper. It is a
database. Does anyone know it and is it Jaws friendly?

Thanks,

Mireille

[JAWS-Users] Mirror Display Driver not compatible with VMware

2010-03-15 Thread chris hallsworth

Hello all,
I have e-mailed Freedom Scientific to suggest if they can make what is
in the subject compatible with VMware. Here is the contents of the e-mail.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm a final year university student studying Computing. One of my
computing hobbies is to set up virtual machines and test various
operating systems and compatible applications. I use either VMware
Player and VMware Workstation as the virtualization environment. The
packages work really well with JAWS, however if I use JAWS in a Windows
Vista or later 32 bit guest operating system, the system produces a blue
screens and hangs while trying to restart. I have to power off and power
back on the virtual machine to get up and running again. Through various
tests I discovered the Freedom Scientific Mirror Display Driver is not
compatible with VMware virtual machines. For my host I am using Windows
7 Home Premium 64 bit and my JAWS is 11.0.756. My guest operating
systems I just use JAWS in 40 minute mode.
Anyway, I am writing to therefore suggest you make the driver compatible
with VMware virtual machines running Vista or later guests. As my
processor does not support 64 bit guests, I cannot do any testing on that.

Thank you very much for taking this into consideration.
I look forward to hearing from you very soon.
Yours Faithfully,
Christopher Hallsworth.

Hope you like this e-mail. I will keep you updated.
From Chris.
