Hi Heather; 1. Go to your desktop with the keystroke windows key + M, and press enter on Internet Explorer. 2. Press Jaws / Insert key + V. 3. Arrow down and you will hear Level 0,Virtual Cursor Options opened, 9 items. 4. Arrow down 1 more time and you should hear, Level 1, Select and Copy - From Virtual Cursor 1 of 9, Virtual Cursor Options. 5. If you don't hear,Select Copy from virtual cursor, and you hear, Select and Copy - Full content using onscreen highlight, instead, press your spacebar, and that should put you on the Select Copy from virtual cursor option. That's so strange, especially since neither Patty or I can reproduce the same message at all and we've tried on all three computers. I know you aren't arguing with me, I can't imagine why you would even think about it. Yes I too would like to know if anybody else is having the same issue. Re: [JAWS-Users] Copying content from web page to word processor, not geting that option, S for select Copy
Heather, No, you are in the right spot, but when you open that dialog with insert-v, just press the letter s or downarrow past those first three items and you will get to the virtual cursor settings, which have nine items. The one that changes copying from the virtual cursor to the full screen is the first one in the group of nine. It is organized kind of like a treeview. 73's 88'S Steve K8SP Lansing, MI - Original Message - From: heather kd5cbl kd5...@gmail.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Wednesday, August 25, 2010 10:20 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Copying content from web page to word processor, not geting that option, S for select Copy I went to the internet icon from the desktop and hit inter. Re: [JAWS-Users] Update to MSSE update links
Marilyn! I downloaded and installed MSE, or to put it more honestly, it installed itself, and as soon as I had pressed the spacebar when it said finish, the update window slid open: one or two more presses of the spacebar and the update was installed. [JAWS-Users] question msconfig start up programs
I was wondering if I can check these programs so they don't start up in my msconfig. ADOBE-ARM, itunes helper, apple sink notifier, action express octicbook3600 (my scanner). Does this mean they won't work at all or just that they don't automatic start running at the beginning when windows starts up? I have my jaws 11 start up before I have to log in to windows but it takes a while for it to start. I am wondering if I limitt these programs from starting up, jaws will come on faster.
