Re: [JAWS-Users] having a mintal block
If you want to completely remove all customizations then you can go under options, then manage applications. You can either disable or delete them from there. If you disable or delete them, Jaws should act the way it would from a fresh install. Re: [JAWS-Users] Copying the name of a file
Hi Norma; What I just tried running XP Home & Jaws 10 is; 1. I opened the My Documents folder. 2. Invoked the Jaws key, control, shift, & W, keystroke. This virtualizes the current control only. 3. Pressed control + A, to select all. 4. Control + C, to copy, & control + V, to paste into a Word document. Now you will have to delete the file names you don't want but, it did only copy the file names. This was only an experiment but, give it a try & see if it works for you. Hope this helps. Take care. Re: [JAWS-Users] Copying the name of a file
Betsy, That is not the correct procedure for what she wants to do. If you are in a file list and highlight the name of a file and press control-c as you suggest, what you are in fact doing is copying the whole file. If you follow your procedure and then go to a different directory, you can press control v and you will see your file is there, including the data. What she wants to do is just copy the filename, in which case you highlight the file, press f2, then copy the name and press enter. Focus on the file and hit F2, then hit control+C. Then hit enter, you are done. [JAWS-Users] WLM 2011 and JFW 11.0
Hi. We have a new hebrew version of JFW 11 now. It's the 1476 build like in English. Can someone help me to get WLM to work well with braille and speach with this version of JAWS? I would appritiate Eric Damery's respond because he is from FS and he knows what the product can do. We need a fix. We, in Israel paid $4000 US for JAWS and We upgrated to 11 only about two-three months ago but, we have problems. Can you fix this for us. A user respond would be thankfull as well. We have some other problems with JFW 11 but, this is not for the list. You can talk to the distributer later. I'm one of the people that test the product. Thank you very much and have a nice day, Adi Kushnir. This seems particularly common when copying hotel confirmations or flight information from O E in to word. Is there a way to copy the information in a quick and neat manner? Re: [JAWS-Users] Copy and paste in O E.
hello Rich; give this a try; 1, open internet explorer; 2, once your HomePage loads, press insert+v=adjust jaws options. 3, now press the letter "v", you should hear; virtual cursor options opened; 4, down arrow one time, and use the spacebar to select, select and copy from virtual cursor. This option controls whether or not JAWS will use the Text Selection and Copy Commands from the Web browser, e-mail software, or other owner of a virtual document. With the "From Virtual Cursor" setting, text is copied as plain text without formatting, pictures, and HTML attributes. With the "Full Content Using Onscreen Highlight" setting, the text and elements you select are highlighted onscreen as you press selection keys from the keyboard just as it would be in programs like Word Processors. The content is then copied with all formatting. The default setting is Full content using onscreen highlight. once you have made the change, tab okay and press enter. - Original Message - From: "rich" To: Sent: Saturday, January 22, 2011 9:58 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Copy and paste in O E.
