Re: [JAWS-Users] Looking for an address book and emailclientthatworks best with JAWS and Windows 7 Ultimate

2011-02-04 Thread Greg

Hello,
There is Day by Day planner by BSC. It does cost $30 US. It is very good
and works well on Windows Seven. It has an address book that will let you
send emails from it. go to:
www.blindsoftware.com to check it out. You can get a 15 day trial of the
software before you buy it.

Hope this helps,
Greg W.

Hi friends, have been virtually non-existent for months on the list due
to

slipping in and out of moments of depression cause by the death of my
mother.
To make things worlse I accidentally formatted the secondary harddrive of
my

machine where I had all my stuff backed up.

Anyway I got Windows 7 installed on my machine and need a program that
works
similar to Outlook express and and address book that could be
incoorperated

into Windows 7 that is accessible with JAWS 11.
Thanks. Heard Thunderbird is accessible but not sure. In addition I am
sorry

if this question had been raised before. My apologies to richard and the
moderating team if I caused the list to be clustered with repeated posts.

Hi

I believe that the first support for any of the Office 2010 programs came in
an update to JAWS 11. You could contact Freedom Scientific, but they're
probably going to tell you that you need JAWS 11 or higher. I think that
JAWS 10 only supports Office 2007. There are no script or setting files for
Word 2010 or Excel 2010 in the JAWS 10 shared settings folder.

To move to the end of ta row in a table, do alt control shift right arrow.
If you don't want to move the pc cursor, rout jaws to pc with insert minus
on the numpad. Then press page up, or the 9 on the numpad. Use insert down
arrow to read, and of course that is the say all command. The jaws cursor
will be reading at this time, and it will only read the window which is
visible on the screen. TheJAWS cursor will be acting like a mouse.

I'm not sure I completely understand your question. But, you will have to
know there's an attachment or I haven't found a way to know otherwise. If
you know, tab through all the header like to, from, subject, etc and you
will see something that looks like a filename. Well, that's your first
attachment. Now, it will look like there is only one. So, right arrow over
to make sure that Jaws doesn't say another one and proceed like that. Not
real scientific, but it does work.

[JAWS-Users] Another Pamela question.

2011-02-04 Thread Sarah Anson
Hi all,
Do I have to be online for Pamela to get voicemails? A friend tried it and it
just rang and then said ending call.
What do I have set wrong?
Thanks,
Sarah A.
