Lennie, thanks so much for the tip on getting split transaction fields to read with JFW 12. This problem bothered me and I had to always switch to JFW 11 when using split transactions in Quicken 2003. Now with your tip it works perfectly with JFW 12. Hi Greg, I am glad that I was able to help someone else with the same problem that I had. It was very frustrating going back and forth between Jaws 11 and 12 just to use Quicken 2003 split transaction window. I wrote to Freedom Scientific support right after Jaws 12 release about this matter and all they told me is to find a script writer to make the necessary changes to it. I didn't like that idea having to pay someone to modify the script. It was just dumb luck and a hunch that maybe something in text processing was causing the problem. It made no sense to me that Quicken 2003 was working perfectly in Jaws 11 and not in Jaws 12. So, doing a comparison between 11 and 12 text processing, I discovered the difference and I made the change in Jaws 12 text processing and I came to be a happy camper that Quicken 2003 is working like it should. I notified Freedom Scientific and they were appreciative and they were notifying their support team in case anyone else happens to call them with the same problem. Glad it works for you too! Yes it is free and it does work wigh jaws 11. Just don't get the latest version.
