Hi Vicky,
I create a folder where I want the extracted files to go, normally on the
root of C,
and then from within the program, I browse to that folder, and have it
save

the files there.

Rick, When you rip the DVD, does the program give you a way to name it
and

can you set up a folder for just your movies?

Yeah, I recently ripped 50+ DVD's.
The program retains your settings from one session to the next, so once

A more specific answer to your question is that it just isn't that simple.
If you are looking at a book that you want to buy, you can now access the
sample if you have Jaws 12 or higher than that, just by pressing enter on
play. If you want a summary of the book, you need to go to the link that is
where the book title is and then I use the Jaws find command to find
summary, and you'll get to the publisher's summary. If you then return to
the original title and arrow down, you can purchase the book. Once you've
purchased the book, it appears in My Library. You go there to find it. It
may be in several parts. For each part, you tab until you get to the
download link and press enter.

If this sounds confusing, I can certainly understand. You can contact me off
list, or join the blind audible list which has members more skilled than I,
and Dan Rossi, who is on this Jaws list, is also on the blind audible list
and knows this stuff inside out.

no luck. Anyone have jaws tricks to share that make this site quick & easy.
I don't want to hear about everyone who has rated the book; just a brief

Hi Vicky,
Are you talking about the entire contents of the disk, or just the audio?

Rick, When you rip the DVD, does the program give you a way to name it and
can you set up a folder for just your movies?

Many thanks! Vicky

Yeah, I recently ripped 50+ DVD's.
The program retains your settings from one session to the next, so once
you
have a target location established,

The program named DVD audio extractor works quite well with JAWS. I have
not
tried it on windows 7 as of yet but it works fine on XP. Interesting, I
was
wondering what I was going to do this afternoon, maybe I'll take it out
for

You need to install the JAVA access bridge, this part of the control panel will
then read, I had to use the JAWS cursor though.
A google search for the JAVA Access Bridge should find it, if not, let me know
off list and I will see if I can help.

I would like to disable Java updater. Java indicates I can do this within the
java control panel which is located under Java in windows seven control panel.
However, this part of the program doesn't appear to be accessible using Jaws
v13. Does anybody have away to disable Java from wanting to update all the time?
