[JAWS-Users] Controling The Volume

2012-12-12 Thread Hicks Steven (CORNWALL IT SERVICES)
Hello friends,

I have an HP laptop and the volume control is on a touch sensitive pad above
the keybord which is a bit tricky but not impossible.
Is there a way within JAWS that you can control the volume on the fly or
another work around to avoid the touchpad to control the volume on the fly,
without having to use the system tray shortcut that anyone has found?

Many thanks in anticipation,

2012-12-12 Thread Maria Campbell
I also have a volume control on a touch bar at the top of my laptop
keyboard. As you say, it's a bit tricky, but doable. However, I had a
sighted person help me place a marker right below the volume buttons on
the bar for easier access. Additionally, I have an external keyboard
with volume buttons on it as well. I have the best of all possibilities
for access.

the settings center. If you want to change the settings for all programs,
press control+shift+d to open the default file. In the search box, type say
link. Then arrow down until you see say link type and make sure it is not
checked. Tab to the OK button and press enter.

hi, the jFW update had some bad issues in it . They now have a update to

they had one or when it would be comeing out and the man gave me a special

 Hi All,

Last Friday morning I installed the JAWS 14 update on my home window 7

the machine did not get back to workability until late yesterday

But I am left with a problem and I wanted to see if anyone has any
ideas about this. When I telework I use remote desktop to get to my

 Any suggestions? Thanks!
