oh wait now, forgetting a very important factor, the OS has something more
to do with it, right? Like win 7 has to have v13 and higher not earlier
versions, right?

Hi listers
I found this afiew weeks ago when show my friend a little program through

skype, and I would like to share it to you.

1. you need a skype recording program that support for recording two
channels. I suggest i Free Skype recorder from
http://www.ifree-recorder.com

2. after installing it, sign in to skype and record your conversation.
3. Run audacity, and open your recorded file.
4. press application on the opened file to open context menu and choose

Split Stereo to Mono.
5. Now you have two tracks in current project. You can do anything such
as

remove noise adjust volume etc on each track.

Note: if there are errors or mistakes you want to cut out, you should

select it and choose Silence audio instead of delete do to synchronize two
tracks.

6. Now you can do something like mix and render to have a single track,
and use truncate silence to cut out the unwanted silence part. Your
recorded

file should be better.

Hope that useful.

You could always silence Jaws by doing the insert spacebar followed by the

You're right, and when you record using the microphone, jaws doesn't interfere
with
recording. However, when you want to record something else, like a file, you can
always hear jaws say, record button. We are trying to get away from hearing jaws
say anything. Jim

I believe there was a way to set TR to record from the "mike" only in its
preferences, which eliminated jaws depending on if you used a headphone and
mike, or speakers and mike setup.

I could be out of date here, but I remember folks talking about this a while

Three years is possible, but not guaranteed. If you want to know how
the battery is, use the computer on battery for an hour or two and watch
the meter. If it quits in a hurry you will know the battery is going
and then you can decide how important it is to you. Many laptops spend
their lives plugged in until the owner needs it to work on battery, then
they find out the battery is junk.

Hello friends,

Just a strange thing that I have noticed, not sure if anyone else has or not
but sometimes, when I check the laptop battery status, it will say something
like 95 per cent plugged in, not charging.
Does anyone know why it is saying plugged in and not charging, is this just
related to how the laptop manages it's battery and charging as other times,
it will report 100 per cent and a percentage and actually say charging.

Take care all,

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] problem clicking on to links when in an email,

Hello Mick,

A while back there was a problem with links working properly in Outlook 2010
due to changes made when Google Chrome was installed and then changed or
uninstalled. Registry entries affecting HTML file types with Google Chrome
were not being changed in the registry. Microsoft has a FixIt utility for
this problem. Use the "fix this problem" link to start the process. There
are also steps listed that you can follow if you would prefer doing the fix.
It might be a good idea to try using the automatic fix first. There are two
methods listed for when you want to do the fixing. When on the web site,
you need to use the link for "method 1" or "method 2" to expand the
instructions. The first method doesn't involve working in the registry so
you might want to try it first. The link is shown below. You might need to
copy the link and paste it in the address bar of your browser if it doesn't
work in Outlook. I have instructions for manually doing the repair so if
the Fix It utility doesn't work for you I can send you those instructions.
Here is the link:

Take care.
