Hi list: I have taken the windows 8 plunge. Are there any accessible windows 8 apps for Jaws 14? the hardest things on the new asus windows 8 notebook laptop to install were Jaws 14 and my antivirus. After getting these programs installed and checking for updates and removing a troubled program and getting rid of some junk programs, everything is working well. I think that most of us use the Qube. Notice that the word is spelled with a Q and not a C. It is a little strange to get used to because it is command driven, almost like a DOS program, but there is a hot key that will bring up a menu. The neat thing about it is that even though it works with your screen reader, nothing shows on the screen, making sure that your Twitter activity is private. It is a free download. You need to do a cntrol shift d before you modify the sound scheme. This wil put you in the default settings which covers most programs. Hi Ravi, I use Thunderbird 17.0.5 with JAWS 11 on Windows Vista and I have no problem with it. It seems to bee combatible with JAWS. It has it own shorutcut keys so no need for scripting.
