[JAWS-Users] installing and overwriting scripts

2013-06-26 Thread Sherri
I have two sets of scripts that make my medical transcription platform work
better. one is newer than the other. I am trying to get my hard drive
together, because the old one failed. I am running Jaws 12 and Windows XP. I
received the older version of the scripts first and because I needed to do
work I installed them. I now have the newer version. Is it possible for me
to install them over the old version and will they overwrite the other
files? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Is there a direct link to download the latestversionof adobe flash player for Firefox"

2013-06-26 Thread Don & Cher Bosch
Dear David-

My security software would not let me download from your handy links (and
it's a pain and requires sighted assistance to disable) but this might help
some folks. If you go to Adobe.com using the browser for which you want the
Flash add-on, Adobe automatically recognizes and selects your windows
version and browser. I'm probably the last one to notice this- but for what
it's worth...

Hi Sherri,

I propose you to use both. I use it, too. As far as I remember both
program is designed working togheter. Defender is a firewall-like
application. It extends MS Security Essentials, which is an anti-vírus
program.
