[JAWS-Users] gold wave problem
Hello, Yesterday I recorded a church choir consert. Last night I spent a few hours breaking the file into individual tracks with gold wave. The files are wav. Using window media player they will not play but if I bring them up in gold wave they play fine. What did or am I doing wrong? Re: [JAWS-Users] Windows Defender MSE in Win7
Hi, You can navigate to it from the search box edit (Windows key) and activate it from the Defender's menu and run it, But on this end that did not happen for some reason. I am running AVG pro and should have nothing to do with windows defender? Can someone explain why my Windows Defender is not working in Wind 7. Re: [JAWS-Users] Windows Defender MSE in Win7
from what I recall, Windows Defender was originally an antispyware program that was developed for at least Windows Vista and 7. when Windows 8 came out, Security Essentials wasn't compatible for Windows 8, so Microsoft made a modified version that was named Windows Defender, which is built into Windows 8, It can't be uninstalled, there is no downloadable executable. Just let it update when it wants to. If you want to install a third party antivirus program, the vendor might have instructions to disable Defender or the antivirus you install will probably auto disable Defender. hth - Original Message - From: TheHangMan jorgethehang...@gmail.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Monday, June 09, 2014 11:10 AM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Windows Defender MSE in Win7 Hi, You can navigate to it from the search box edit (Windows key) and activate it from the Defender's menu and run it, But on this end that did not happen for some reason. [JAWS-Users] Manage application settings as found under the File menu in Jaws?
Hi Jaws list,, I am using Jaws 15 and iTunes 11. I am confused by the long list of choices found first in the Jaws Options menu, and then under Manage Applications. I have: Default checked, iTunes Chinese checked, iTunes Code not checked, followed by 14 other languages some of which are and some are not checked, iTunes Super Playlist not checked, SuynCUICoreLocalized not checked and Word Checked. What does all this mean and is there a way to get rid of all the languages I don’t need? Many thanks for any help! Re: [JAWS-Users] adding selected files to a memory stick
Tom, After you have cut or copied the files that you want to transfer to your memory stick, just press the Back button until yoou get back to your list of drives in My Computer. Then scroll up and down the list until you find your memory stick. Now, press enter while focused on the stick, which will open it up. Lastly, press Ctrl + V to paste them inside the memory stick. It might take a little while for the files to complete the transfer, depending on how large they are, and how many you try to transfer at one time. hth, Mike blindb...@comcast.net -Original Message- From: t. conley Sent: Monday, June 09, 2014 9:06 PM To: jul Subject: [JAWS-Users] adding selected files to a memory stick I’ve never added selected items to a list when in my computer, so I need to know at which tab do I paste the selected files that I cut from my documents, to put them on my memory stick? jaws 12, win 7 For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ It can happen, Mike Boyd blindb...@comcast.net For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
