[JAWS-Users] Homepage Accessibility Problem
I would like to share with you how I resolved a very frustrating situation. I contacted my server and tried everything everyone and anybody would suggest; nothing worked. Finally, I remembered that Handicap Tech Support with Microsoft. Sure enough, a fellow in the Philippines resolved my issue in about 15 minutes. On the Advanced tab in IE 10, everything was reset so easily and it was a done deal. All was repaired like magic. Hope this helps someone else in the future when their Homepage will not display. Thank you. I am using Win 7 . JAWS 12 . IE 10. I have never had any problems before. I own a group, but when I go to my Homepage for this group, it is not accessible and has no links. All members can access this group now, but I cannot. My server said it is not a problem with them. Can someone tell me how to delete the Homepage and reconfigure it again which might cause it to work properly? If I knew where to go and what to do with JAWS, I would do it, in order to fix this lack of access problem. I am the only one experiencing this problem, so I think if I reconfigure it again, this could solve everything. Thank you very much for all suggestions and help. Thanks, Jim. I am familiar with the OED, but what I am looking for is something a bit more streamlined to use when trying to find just the right word in something I'm trying to write. Shoshana For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [JAWS-Users] ISO a very JAWS friendly dictionary online
I confess..most of the time I just google the word I want and often find what I need without going to the source. If I wanted a super dictionary, I'd probably go to the Oxford English Dictionary, whose specialty is word origins. Re: [JAWS-Users] Screenshots
Maximize the window, then use Alt + screenprint, the screenprint is the left hand key on the three group on the right for desktop anyway. This will give you a nice screenprint of the active window. If you need more of the screen then just the screenprint by it self. If you have trouble finding the key then turn keyboard help on with jawsKey+1 on the number row. This does give you a good screen shot. Re: [JAWS-Users] Screenshots
Hello, If I need to take a screen shot I use a program called Screen Grab Pro. It is a free program. When the screen is up that you need a screenshot of, you open up Screen Grab Pro, alt plus tab back to the program you need a screenshot of and press F9. Next you alt plus tab back to the Screen Grab Pro window, you can save the file as one of a couple formats giving it whatever name you want. I don't have the link for the programs website handy but if you Google it you should find it fairly easily.
