Re: [JAWS-Users] changing sheets in an excel book

2014-07-05 Thread Brian Lee
Hello Leonard,

I use Shift with F11, which is the insert new sheet command. To move the
inserted sheet to the correct position in the workbook I first move focus
into the worksheet and use Alt+H followed by O followed by M. You can then
choose which worksheet the one being moved should be before or choose to
move it to the end of the workbook by using up and down arrow keys to make
your selection. The JAWS keyboard manager shows that Shift with JAWS key
and S should bring up the Manage Sheet Options box but that doesn't work for
me.

Take care.

doing it wrong. So, how do you create a new work sheet in excel 2013?

understanding there are three sheets per spreadshee book. I want to
know how to switch to the second and third sheet in a book. I tried

[JAWS-Users] Latest version of Jaws 15.0.10026

2014-07-05 Thread Owen Palamountain
Hi List,

I have a friend that is using Jaws Pro 15.0.10026 and Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
and when he uses the Jaws key+f12 for the time and date it only says f12 and
Jaws key+f11 for the system tray it will only say f11.

This has been happening since Jaws version 15.0.8021 and higher.

Kind Regards

Hi Leonard,

Since it looks like this question has been answered by Brian Lee, you have
what you need. However, since it is always good to have a backup plan, you
can add Sheets, Columns, and rows by first pressing Alt+H, I, and then using
your up and down arrow keys to make the selection before pressing the enter
key. Thanks to Brian, you have the steps to move the sheet to where you
would like.

Turn off virtual cursor.
Use J to rewind, L to fast-forward.

If you tab to the control bar while the video is playing, the following
keystrokes should work:

Spacebar: Play/Pause when the seek bar is selected. Activate a
button

if a button has focus
 Play/Pause Play / Pause
Stop
Moves to the next track in a play/list
Left/Right arrow on the seek bar Moves through the video.
Seek backward/forward 5 seconds
Home/End on the seek bar: Goes to beginning/end.
Seek to the beginning/last seconds of the video
Up/Down arrow on the seek bar: Increases or decreases volume.
   Increase/Decrease volume 5%
Numbers 1 to 9 (not on the numeric pad) on the seek bar: Goes to a
point that is 10% to 90% of the video respectively. Seek to the 10% to

Hi Marilyn,

To be perfectly honest I don't remember what set of directions was the 2nd
set of steps! LOL LOL

However, I would not recommend updating Jaws using the automatic update
option. Too many people end up with bad installs. Download it with the
link I provided, save it somewhere on your computer that you can access
easily, run the saved J15 executable / download from your computer for the
best results. If you download the 64 bit version try to run it your
computer is a 32 bit system it won't install you'll get an error message
stating this. HTH
Take care.
