There is also a program known as de-pop for removing noises from vinyl recordings. It was not much money but off hand I don't recall what it did cost. I'm thinking less than $20 American. Thanks, Annette. I'm asking because I received a medical questionnaire in a Word document with a bunch of items prompting me to circle yes or no, and I was wondering if this is possible to do accessibly in JAWS. [JAWS-Users] Circling an area of selected text in Word 2010
Chris, I have Outlook Office word and e-mail, 2013 and using windows 7 and the latest of Jaws. In dealing with my son either from Open Book or a Word document with the medical center for my son. As presently doing. Instead of Circling, as spoke to the Medical Center, I put ( and ) around the yes and no questions and if there is a suggested word to highlight I do the same thing and being talking to the medical center. They find it acceptable. Maybe that can work for you? Geno For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

[JAWS-Users] MSWord 2007 not showing all files, is it a JFW problem
Hello list I have a .doc file in the root of my hard drive. When I use the open command in MSWord 2007 and I select MSWord 2003 as the type and then navigate to the treeview of files it shows all the folders but just a few .zip files. Re: [JAWS-Users] MSWord 2007 not showing all files, is it a JFW problem
You will find the .doc file and .txt files in a litview or within a listview of files in a subfolder of My Documentt (or Documents. .zip files are actually folders. Files will be in a listview not a Treeview. What OS are you using? Windows has complicated the structures of locating the folders for files as it has evolved. For example, they're now in libraries and such. More and more, folders serves not really AS DIRECTORIES. - More like wrappers or paper covers. Maybe you ought to do a Find Files Folders search, inputting the file name (possibly without any suffix, at first) into the search field; then when the listview of search results comes up press alt-i for open containing folder on the file (or copies of the file) in question. but it'd be better to indicate the OS if you need more assistance. - Original Message - From: Fanus buys.fa...@gmail.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Monday, July 14, 2014 3:24 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] MSWord 2007 not showing all files, is it a JFW problem Hello list I have a .doc file in the root of my hard drive. It does not appear to have the problem when playing music. My new observation is that the computer sounds, I.e. beeps etc., are much louder than the JAWS’ voice, instead of being the background. By the way, my sound bar/speaker is announced as “Real Tech digital output optical”. And, I am using “Eloquence”. Thanks for the help.
