Re: [JAWS-Users] Numbering in Word 2010
Liuda, Why can't you create yourself a document, template if you will, formatted the way that you need it to be, and then save it as a word template, which will retain the formatting. Then simply open this template when you need to create one of your documents. When finished, or during the writing process, save the document with its own name as a word document ).doc or .docx), and you will then still have the blank template to use again the next time you need it, and it will be preformatted for you. This is the simplest way of doing what you are asking for, that I know of. hth, Mike blindb...@comcast.net -Original Message- From: Liuda Balcius Sent: Thursday, February 05, 2015 9:25 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Numbering in Word 2010 Hello. When I used Word 2003, it was so easy to install numbering protocols on the permanent template. It took about 2 minutes, tops. Now in 2010, what a nightmare. After 3 MS Disabilities desk specialists failed miserably, how are we expected to accomplish this previously routine task?!? It is imperative that I have pages numbered at the bottom center of all documents that I generate. I was reminded by an editor that if someone accidentally dropped my hard copy submission, how would anybody ever straighten out the mess? Some professionals prefer to read a lengthy document that is not stapled or in a notebook, for example. Some of my documents are in excess of 200 pages+. As was said previously, when I write, the last concern I need to concern myself with is placing a page number at the bottom and which one should it be besides. This gives you a little background why I must one way or another have the ability to print page numbers on all pages of every docx painlessly. For this reason, this numbering feature must be installed on the permanent template, it seems to me. “Lend nme your eyes and you can borrow my mind.” Liudytė Balčiūtė -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Lisle, Ted (CHFS DMS) Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2015 2:10 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Numbering in Word 2010 Not as bad as placing footnotes, something I haven't had to do in more than 30 years, but I take the point. [JAWS-Users] Twitter issues
Hi listers, Am hoping someone can give me some help with Chicken Nugget. I’ve had it for about three weeks but as of Wed. night it has suddenly stopped working. Instead of being able to send and receive messages in the usual way, it seems that my account/password is not recognized and any attempt to enter or change passwords places me back in the authorize application loop. I attempted a system restore without success and also reinstalled the program, but cannot see where to reenter the original activation code etc., so not sure whether or not this is the problem. I’ve also entered my iphone number into the account process but am new to the iphone and haven’t properly set up Twitterific as yet, and am generally confused about how all these apps handle the Twitter account itself, but think the problem is more that Chicken Nugget does not recognize the account than that I have set it up incorrectly. Anyway, in case this skirts the purpose of the list I’d appreciate any feedback either on or off list, especially if anyone else has seen this. Hope this all makes some sense. Tia. I don't know if these differ from what you have been trying, but if so, Incoming Server (pop3): mail.comcast.net Outgoing Server: smtp.comcast.net Incoming port: 587 Outgoing port: 995 If you mean how to set the default account, this is a check box in one of the windows of the account set up wizard. If you mean how to select an account at random, all of your accounts will show up in the main window of the WLM program. For instance, le...@comcast.net will be listed and will say closed. You know to press the right arrow key to open this and then arrow down to the Inbox, Junk, and Deleted Items folders.
