[JAWS-Users] Punctuation?
Hi List, I’m having a bit of a brain freeze, so I’m hoping that someone will be kind enough to help me out. I’m using Word 2007 on a windows 7 computer with Jaws 16. Re: [JAWS-Users] Punctuation?
If you hit Alt V, that will put you in JAWS Verbosity. You will need to arrow down until you get to the punctuation options, and you can opt for none, some, most or all. It could be that there is something else in those choices in JAWS Verbosity that would solve your problem, but I don't know what that is. One time I had some kind of smart tag or something and ended up calling Freedom Scientific Customer Service. The woman I talked to was really smart, got me right to what I had to do to make it stop doing that, and I believe that it was in JAWS Verbosity. That was about ten years ago, so I don't remember the details, only that we did get a solution.
