Re: [JAWS-Users] How To Stop Auto-numbering In Outlook 2016
Hi Tom, I do not know how to do this in 2016, but in 2010 Alt, H, U opens the bullets submenu and you would use your arrow keys to get to "None". I cannot remember the command for getting to the Numbers submenu, but in 2010 it is the item to the right of Bullets on the ribbon. Maybe someone can come up with the short cut. For some reason the short cut keys that are being announced when I check out my ribbon are not making sense. Another idea is to see if your applications key brings up a context menu that offers a choice for turning off the numbering. Re: [JAWS-Users] Problem attempting to create a Portable copy of Image for Windows
I normally pop a copy of the portable image for windows on the hard drive for example on a data partition and search for it in windows explorer. If it comes up in demo mode that means that INI file is not coded as read only. Simply place your name and the license code in the proper fields BTW clipboard is available in the virtual environment so don't worry about that fact at all. Then proceed as normal creating your image or restoring it whatever you are about at that point. I hope this is clear enough, if not again let me know. I do love restoring images from an external drive or data partition without sited help for several reasons. Once you catch on you will enjoy that level of freedom as well. -Original Message- From: Mike O'Brien Sent: Saturday, October 22, 2016 3:27 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Problem attempting to create a Portable copyof Image for Windows Hi David Thank you for the response. Re: [JAWS-Users] How do I stop jaws from saying errow keys
Hi Again Lev, I think I found the setting to stop Jaws from saying, use arrow keys. Open your Jaws context menu / Options / Basics. When you open, Basics, you'll be in a list of 3 radio buttons: Tutor Messages: 1. Turn off Menu and Control Help. 2. Announce Menu and Control Help. 3. Announce Custom Messages Only Arrow / select # 3, tab to Okay & press enter. See if this helps. Take care. Mike Sent from my iBarstool.
