[JAWS-Users] Jaws on a portable thumb drive?
Hi all, I realise with NVDA you can have it on a portable thumb drive and run it on a pc without any intrusion from what I understand. Is there a way to do the same thing with Jaws? Looking at further study and no point studying Tech support if options are limited. If I were to possibly get a job in tech support I could take a USB stick from machine to machine. -- Adam Morris Jaws certified 2016 Phone: +61 2 6654 Email, iMessage & FaceTime a...@damorris.com For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Consider enabling the JAWS braille viewer. Note that you do not need to have a braille display for this to work, but if you do have a braille display, both can be used together. http://doccenter.freedomscientific.com/doccenter/doccenter/rs11f929e9c511/20 12-04-12_teachersandtrainers-l4/02_jawsandbraille.htm -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of JM Casey Sent: Friday, January 5, 2018 7:27 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Any tips on screen-sharing with sighted users? Re: [JAWS-Users] Where do I locate WordPad
Hi, I have Windows 7. the word pad is located in the Accessories folder. I go to my desktop, press the windows key and then hit enter on the "all programs" and hit "a" till it comes to Accessories and then arrow right to open it and arrow down until you reach word pad. You can then make a shortcut for it if you like.
