I don't know if the authorization key is printed on the disk. I have
written my key on a file card and saved it on a casette as well. just a
thought.

It might have your authorization number printed, which I have known to lose.

I don't have my cd, btw, but I never really cared for them.

Hello,
For those of you who have received your new jaws 16 DVD, is there anything
on there that is useful other than the regular jaws 16 program that I
downloaded from the freedom scientific website?
Best,
Alan

Re: [JAWS-Users] jaws and RS Games

I have experienced it, but unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to get
around it.

Hi all.
Using Windows 7 and JAWS 16 which I downloaded today.

After downloading jaws 16, I logged in to RS Games to find that a SAPI voice
was running for the game rather than my usual Eloquence. Don't know why
this happened, but the sapi voice is very difficult to understand and I want
to get Eliquence working with this game. I tried re-installing RS Games,
but no difference. Has anyone else experienced this, or can someone please
tell me how to replace this sapi voice with Eloquence.

Thanks very much.

[JAWS-Users] what can I use to convert a kindle book to read with jaws and a braille display?

2014-03-25 Thread ted phillips
Hi all. I just bought a piano tuning and repair kindle book and want to
read it with my braille pen on my pc with jaws. Is there a program that is
accessible out there that will read it or allow me to convert it to pdf so I
can read it with the braille pen?

Thanks all.

Thanks. The only reason I posted a second time was I didn't see my original

One thing's for sure. If you sent it for the first time last night, you've
got to be more patient when waiting for responses. Never expect immediate
assistance from any postings to Email lists for a number of reasons. People
may not know anything about your questions, as is the case with me in this
set of queries you've sent. Also, people might not check their inboxes for
a few days, so haven't read your post yet. Give a few days, at least,
before posting again?? Thanks..

[JAWS-Users] back on the list with questions

2014-03-17 Thread ted phillips
Hi listers. I sent this message last night right after I subscribed, and
never did see it post, so don't know if it did.

My name is Ted Phillips. I live in Calgary Alberta Canada. I think I was
on this list years ago but unsubscribed because I was getting too many
messages from too many lists. Now for my questions.

I just bought a slightly used braille pen 12 and am wanting to know if
anyone on the list knows how to make it auto advance like some of the other
braille displays? I want to read without having to use the braille panning
keys.

Next, if there is someone on the list that is using a braille pen 12 with
jaws that will communicate with me off list, I am wanting to find out such
things as updating, and whether it can be done by me, and if I need to
update it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all

Ted Phillips
