Re: [JAWS-Users] Attachments in outlook express
Hi, I am using the latest version of Jaws, and the latest version of AVG. Every e-mail I receive says it has an attachment even though there isn't. Can someone tell me if this is a problem with Jaws or AVG? I'd like to get rid of it because I find it quite annoying. Re: [JAWS-Users] Attachments in outlook express
Bring up AVG. Go to the tools menu and down to advanced settings. Arrow down the tree to Email Scanning and tab until you hear the check boxes for certification and uncheck them. Tab to ok and enter. Re: [JAWS-Users] Attachments in outlook express
HiJoJO Pablo, AVG Anti-Virus will do that if you have it configured to certify incoming email. When AVG certifies incoming mail, it causes Outlook Express to see the certification as an attachment. If you have AVG, open the Control Center, click on Email Scanner then at the bottom, click on the Properties button. In the Window that opens, click on the Configure button. Uncheck Certify Mail under Check Incoming Mail. Click OK and OK again, close the Control Center. Hope that helps.
