Re: [JAWS-Users] Changing the Default Mail Client in IE 7 with Windows Vista
your answer was also in the browser under tools menu, options, programs tab menu. Just arrow down to email and it will list all that is on box. Hello everyone, Thanks for your help...I was able to get it fixed! I wouldn't have easily guessed that my answer was in "default programs"...I was kind of wondering what that item was there in the start menu for but figured I'd find out eventually. Re: [JAWS-Users] Changing the Default Mail Client in IE 7 with Windows Vista
well what program do you want to become your default email client? Lets use outlook express for example, when you open outlook express, or windows mail, it will ask you weather you want to make this your default email client. If you didn't get this message, hit tools, and options, and in the first tab which is general, it will say make this my default email client. If you click on default program in all programs menue, you can make your default email client that way as well. Yes, obviously, as Microsoft Outlook was the default. Anyway I looked through the internet options and on the "programs" page I see everything but a box where I can set the default email program. I have searched on Google and Windows help to no availe; perhaps is this box really there just JAWS isn't reading it? Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
