Re: [JAWS-Users] Display Settings An intro and a question
Did you make sure your display settings are correct? If so, to uninstall the video drivers, go to control panel. Then go to system. Control tab to hardware. Tab to, device manager and press enter. Tab one time to your list of devices and type the letter d for display adapters. Right arrow once to open. Arrow down to your video card and press enter. Control tab to the driver tab and then tab to the uninstall button and press enter. It will ask you if you want to do this and say yes. Close out of that and restart your computer. When your computer restarts, it will reload your video drivers. As David pointed out, Jaws will want to intercept the video. If you are in the correct screen, do an alt d and then an alt I and press enter. Then you will need to restart your machine again. Re: [JAWS-Users] Display Settings An intro and a question
Liz, The first thing I would check are your display settings. There are more than just the colors. I am not sure, but I think has the settings that Jaws works best with on his web site found at the bottom of this message. If all are set correctly, then you might want to uninstall your video card drivers and reinstall them. Once you remove the drivers, they will automatically reinstall once your restart your computer.
