Folks, I just found out today that the FSOCR executable file that you need for the "OCR" portion of JAWS is a different file for each version of JAWS. Only the "size" of the file changes. The name stays the same. So please ensure when you down load JAWS you also download the FSOCR file that goes with your JAWS version. For some reason Freedom Scientific is not changing the name or version number so the only way to tell is by the size of the executable file. And, no I do not know if the latest file of the same name is backward compatible with previous versions.
