Unfortunately, unless it was added in Windows 10, there is no keyboard shortcut to get to the action center. The most likely reason you can't access the action center icon is because system tray icons get hidden from view if they are inactive for a period of time. For sighted users there is a button immediately to the left of the system tray which will temporarily display all the icons in the system tray. You can get to it by pressing Windows + B to place the focus on the task bar, then tab to the elevated or user promoted system tray icons button, but be warned, access to the button is erratic at best. To get around this go to the control panel, then to the notification area icons applet. tab around until you find the Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar check box and check it, then find the OK button and press enter. To All: I was needing to know something. My wife told me that there is a Action Center “icon” on my desktop, in the systray. I am running Windows 10, on a Dell laptop with JAWS 17. I cannot access it myself without sighted assistance, but once in it, I can navigate around it. Can anyone tell me the keyboard combinations for gaining access to this?
