Sounds like you've turned on the announcement of spelling and grammatical errors. You can change this from within the Adjust JAWS Verbosity dialogue box, accessed with Insert V. Hope that helps. Sounds like in verbosity JAWS is set to count errors in something--grammar and spelling, perhaps. With jawskey-v tgo to verbosity, then to spelling and grammar, and space bar to see all the choices. My guess is that it's set to 'on plus count'.
