Re: [JAWS-Users] Help with Headings
I just remembered that some times I had to do the FY twice. Don't know why but it worked. I am updating a Word document, due to changes, has headings all over the place and not in good numerical order. In my attempt to correct it, I am having problems correcting the heading numbers in some areas. Some will let me change them and some will not. Is there a global type command that will take all headings away and I start fresh? If not, can I get suggestions to correct my problem? I am using Microsoft 2013 and JAWS 15. Re: [JAWS-Users] Help with Headings
I am using an older version of MS Word 2007 but I am certain that there is a similar method for 2013. I Press Insert+F6 for a list of headings then I select all the headings. IN my version I press Alt+H then fy Then go to clear all and press Enter. You can search with your Jaws curser to look for how it is set up in your version.. Re: [JAWS-Users] Help with Headings
Michelle, You could select all from the Word doc and then paste into notepad. This will remove all formatting I believe. Then, copy from Note Pad and paste into a fresh Word doc and format as you like. Al, Your method worked for what I am doing! Trying to fix it was a mess. I feel my time is better suited by starting all over again. Even if it is 17 pages! I appreciate the response from all who took the time to answer.
