Re: [JAWS-Users] I was wondering what would bethebestE-mailclientto use?
I love WindowsMail and would love to have it on my computer again. My husband installed it for me some time ago, but for some reason I couldn't get service pack one, I think, so it stopped working. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Trish Sent: Monday, August 27, 2012 3:58 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] I was wondering what would bethebestE-mailclientto use? I use windows mail with service pack already installed on my laptop upon purchase. I have no problems, will be a year since November 2011. There's always adjustments to new aps, but WM is very close to OE. Just beware, if you do the registry hack to use Windows Mail, it could interfere with getting Windows updates. Supposedly, if you already have SP1 for Win 7, then it might work, but since Windows Live works decently with Jaws, you are forewarned. I agree it doesn't have the look and feel of OUtlook Express, and you have to get used to the contacts manager for doing things, so you can go with whatever you want. Also, some people are using Thunderbird from Mozilla which doesn't require a hack. - Original Message - From: Linda Vanderlitz To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Monday, August 27, 2012 3:37 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] I was wondering what would be thebestE-mailclientto use? Hi Cindy are you using Windows 7? If so the only client you can use is the latest version of Windows Live Mail! Windows Mail is unfortunately not supported! Microsoft doesn't allow for that!
