Janie,

Nope. Insert+Tab just reads the same current focus, and if there was a 
message spoken about anything else, Insert+Tab will not retrieve it. Only 
way with more recent versions of JAWS is with Insert+Spacebar, then the 
letter H to bring up a history of the last 50 things JAWS said.

That reads all but insert tab reads just what you last heard only

Is there a way to have JAWS repeat whatever it last said?  At times the JAWS

message goes by without my recalling in detail what it said.  Is there any

I don't know if this KeyStrokeCommand is what you 
are Looking4, but  QuitePossibly


InsertKey + UpArrowKey
or
InsertKey + NumPad#5Key
or
InsertKey + NumPad#2Key
or
ALT + UpArrowKey

These various KeyStrokeCommands AsIUnderStandIt, 
Read the CurrentLine, CurrentSentence, or CurrentCharacter
