Hi Rick & Tim, What I forgot is that individual application settings override the default applications settings in the Settings Center. Take care. I had to go into quick settings of IE8, go to Forms Mode options & uncheck the use sounds option, before the forms mode sounds would stop. Is this normal or did I miss something? hi, if you just want the spoken messages, when in the settings center, uncheck the box that says something like, enable sound notifications. you can find that in the forms mode sounds section. You just happened to miss that option. Although you were pretty close. Why would you do that, when simply turning off, use sounds, will return the familiar message? If you record the message. then rename it to one known like the pop. It should speak it. You can have one for both sense they are high and low pitch tones.
