Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS 16 with Office 2013 Spread sheet

2015-05-11 Thread Vicky Vaughan
You can get an external numpad that can plug in to your laptop. For all I
know, there may even be a Bluetooth mottle available.

I even was able to find a numpad for the left hand! This helpped with
repetitive strain.

Good luck

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS 16 with Office 2013 Spread sheet

Hello Group,
In one of my computer, I have Office 13 installed with JAWS 16. While
working with MS Excel, 2013, on trying to edit using the edit mode by
pressing F2, JAWS does not seem to read anything, but stays so quite. Moving
arrows does not help. Suppose I use earlier version of JAWS 15 or 14, it
seems to work fine.

How can I solve the problem?

Looking forward to hearing soon.

The JAWS key also seconds as the Insert key, just like the number 0 on the
number key pad.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but if I'm using the caps lock as my
jaws key (which I am), how does it also function as the insert key?

Hey All,

I just got a new laptop and there is no insert key on the keyboard.
It has been replaced by a double-sized delete key.

I use the caps lock for my jaws key so that's not the problem. But is
there some key combination I can utilize to invoke insert mode?

And who the heck thought this new keyboard design was a good idea?
Why do I need a double sized delete key anyway? Sheesh!

All suggestions welcome. I'm stuck with this laptop for reasons I
won't go into. Nor is an external keyboard the solution I would
choose. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Vicky,
It has nothing to do with the keyboard. The keyboard works fine except with
the JAWS..
