Nope. Jaws supports both 32 and 64 bit. yes, it matters infar as you will need a 64-bit version of JAWS to work on the 64-bit version of Windows. Hi. No. Jaws has both a 32 64 bit version. Yes, you need to download the corresponding version of Jaws. In other words, if you get a 64-bit version of Windows, just go download the 64-bit versiion of Jaws from the website. Because Jaws is so embedded with the operating system, you can't run the 32-bit version on a 64-bit machine as you can with other simpler programs. Take my advice, I don't use it anyway. The only difference I encountered was that I had to re-load Jaws to accommodate the 64 bit system. I had to go out on the Freedom Scientific web and download a 64 bit version. The great part is that Freedom's site recognizes which type of system you are using. A 32 bit version of Jaws will not work on a 64 bit system.
