Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws and Phonenumbers
Hi all, how do I get jaws to say the digits individually and not for example as 'fourtythousandthreehundredseventy', because I cannot follow this and remember a number that way to dial it. In my own addressbook I kind of try and bypass this by seperating groups of three digits togeter and seperate them by 2 spaces. that way I can remember better. I have looked in verbosity but found nothing for thisproblem so far. thanks in advance, chrissy Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Visit the Blind Computing home page at: http://www.blind-computing.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To post to this group, send email to jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following form in order to contact the management team http://www.jaws-users.com/managers.php If you wish to join the Blind Computing list send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi, i believe there's an option for that in text processing or something like that. It's in the configuration manager. To launch it press jaws-key 6. Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws and Phonenumbers
Hi, I do something like you mention here. I divide the numbers up, using the numerals. I can remember 3 or four numerals at a time. I also get rid of the parentheses and dashes most people use, since they just confuse me. If necessary, I have Jaws read three digits, which I dial, then have JAWS read the next set of digits, which I dial, and then the last set of digits.
