Re: [JAWS-Users] Mac Virsus PC's
Sure! he's running Windows and MAC OS on that system. Apple provides a utility called Boot Camp that makes this possible. in that situation, you can run JAWS or any other screen reader or any other Windows program when you boot into Windows. Re: [JAWS-Users] Mac Virsus PC's
Yes, although I haven't tried it - I don't run Microsoft Windows on my Mac. There are two approaches. The first is to use BootCamp, which essentially installs Windows alongside Mac OS. While the machine is booting, you can use keystrokes to control which operating system is loaded. The second approach is to install virtualization software (e.g., VirtualBox or VMWare) under Mac OS, then run Windows, JAWS etc. within the virtual environment. This allows you to switch between the two operating systems without having to reboot the machine. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Gerald Levy Sent: Thursday, October 19, 2017 7:27 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Mac Virsus PC's Actually, somebody on another list claims that he is successfully running JAWS on an Apple Mac using a dual boot configuration.
