Re: [JAWS-Users] NOD 32 Virus Protection
I've used NOD 32 for more than 10 years and am happy to report that, as Folger said, it can be difficult to use but it's effective. The newest version, 8, is the most accessible one yet. F5 or Jaws key and 5 brings the entire system into focus. Buying it can be a bit of a pain as you need to copy some info into the program (user/password) from the confirmation e-mail and activate the product but if you have a sighted friend or tekkie the process is simple. use vipre antivirus 2014 by CFI threat track security took them over in 2015 2014 works real well and it updates to the 2015 definitions. 2015 really isn't jaws friendly, when it does a scan jaws can't announce the progress of the scan. threat track says their working on getting it screen reader compatible but I think if they're doing it, it will not be until 2016 -Original Message- From: Fred Adams Sent: Wednesday, March 25, 2015 2:47 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] NOD 32 Virus Protection I am using W7, Outlook 2010 and latest jaws.
