I am using W7, Outlook 2010 and latest jaws. NOD 32 virus protection has
been mentioned several times on the list and I would like to know if it is
very jaws friendly or just jaws useable. I am thinking of removing MSE
protection soon and want to find a jaws friendly protection before. I
will appreciate any first hand info on this.

Thanks much,

2015-03-25 Thread Jim Pursley
I've used NOD 32 for more than 10 years and am happy to report that, as
Folger said, it can be difficult to use but it's effective. The newest
version, 8, is the most accessible one yet. F5 or Jaws key and 5 brings
the entire system into focus.
Buying it can be a bit of a pain as you need to copy some info into the
program (user/password) from the confirmation e-mail and activate the
product but if you have a sighted friend or tekkie the process is simple.

There is no free version of NOD32. They offer a free trial period, but
after it expires, they charge $39.99 a year. If you want to try it, you can
download it at:
