[JAWS-Users] Outlook 2007 Signatures
Hello, I have 2 questions about editing signatures in Outlook 2007. 1. How do you clear the contents of an existing signature in Outlook 2007 with JAWS 10? I have new text I want to copy into an existing signature. Currently I use the backspace key to remove the contents, then paste in my new text. I want a faster way to remove the contents, so I can paste in the new contents. 2. Is there a hot key to jump to the signature text to edit, instead of tabbing until I get to the edit field? Hello, control A - delete did not work. Maybe my Outlook 2007 is different. I need to tab about 13-15 times to get to the text of the signature. Any more things I can try? Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2007 Signatures
Hello Bill, If you have one default signature that goes in each outgoing Email then you don't have to go through the dialog box for editing a signature. Simply select the signature information in the individual message and type the text that you want to replace the default signature text. However, what you might consider doing is using a default signature and adding others. If you add signatures then when you open a new message all you need to do is down arrow to the signature that is automatically put in the message, use application key and the context menu will have all your signatures listed. After adding signatures the steps would be: 1. Move to the signature that is automatically placed in the message. 2. Press the application key. 3. use down arrow or up arrow key to find the signature you want to use and press enter key. Take care. Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2007 Signatures
Well, it works for me, just use back space or the delete key. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Bill Tipton Sent: Saturday, January 30, 2010 1:49 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook 2007 Signatures Hello, control A - delete did not work.
