[JAWS-Users] PDF files and Word Conversion

2012-06-15 Thread jerry martin
Hello listers:

I believe that someone on this list had mentioned that Word has a conversion
feature for converting PDF files into word documents. If this is true, could
you tell me which version of Word it is, and what the steps are to perform this
function?

Many thanks.

Word 2010. Go into menu with alt key, then arrow right until you hear pdf
and then enter and you will see the option to save the file as a pdf.

If you use alt f and then arrow down through that menu, you will find
different options as to how to save in different formats. Explore.

I know of some free, but inaccessible, programs that will convert from
pdf to word. You can do it (accessibly) in Abbyy FineReader - larger
files in the paid version.
