Press your Windows Key.
Type in, folder options and press enter.
Control tab one time to, View.
Tab to your list of options and down arrow to, hide extension for known file 
types and press your spacebar to off.

Tab to OK.

I have tried to remember how to do this but it has slipped my mind
completely.

How do you change the setting which will allow file extensions to show in
all folders?

For some odd reason, that function changed on my Windows 7 laptop.

Any help would be appreciated.
