Re: [JAWS-Users] Transfering Emails From An XP Machine To A Windows 7 Machine
hello there; well, I think the important question is, which email client will be used on the windows 7 machine. if it's windows mail, this can be quite easy. if it's microsoft outlook, or windows live mail this is a different story. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Donnie Parrett Sent: Friday, June 21, 2013 10:27 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Transfering Emails From An XP Machine To A Windows 7 Machine Yes. Re: [JAWS-Users] Transfering Emails From An XP Machine To A Windows 7 Machine
Hi Donnie, details of how to export messages in outlook express to a backup folder can be found on the following page: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/270670 On this page, see the instructions following: Step 1: Copy message files to a backup folder. Others on the list may be able to provide some better instructions. Unfortunately I don't have access to outlook express so I can try this myself. What is she using on the new machine. We really need the full details to be able to help but on the new machine, there is normally an import option,it will be a case of copying the old email folders from the old machine to the new one and then importing them. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Donnie Parrett Sent: 21 June 2013 15:27 To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Transfering Emails From An XP Machine To A Windows 7 Machine Yes.
