Hello rick, Your absolutely right on the way you view it because Winamp was your first taste of player. Well, me on the other hand, I was introduce to the WMP and ITune was maybe just getting started. I'll will take a look at Winamp and downloaded. And try to learn something new, since we're here to learn. It's incredible how blind folks connect with their music and especially, if you play an instrument like myself. I read a little about it last night from the internet after Mike's post and that's why my respond pertain to the value of Winamp , and not knowing of it's under cover popularity. Just because they are not going to be developing future versions of Winamp does not mean you won't be able to use what you already have. It will still function perfectly fine as a media player as it is a completely self contained package. Hi Jorge, Actually about 13 years ago, I was introduced to WMP, and Real Player, and didn't care for either one. Someone introduced me to Winamp, and I have been using it ever since. My audio needs are pretty simple, so Winamp does the trick, others may have more demanding needs.
