With the RealSpeak voices what version of JAWS is your friend using? What might be happening is that there is a tab signifying a ne page, or it is a default that Word is putting into your friend's document. What I can suggest to try first is copying all the text in the Word document and saving it in NotePad as a text file. Once that's done and all the codes from Word have been stripped out your friend can then copy the text from the NotePad file and put it back into a new Word document and see if the tab is put back into the file once its been saved. Not too sure what else I can suggest. That's about all I can suggest to do in order to, hopefully, remove the tab. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. Normally when I'm using the "Real-speak solo direct" voices and I'm reading a document of my own and when I'm looking at the end of a chapter it said "tab" just before it said End Of Chapter One! How do I get rid of the tab problem? I've already tried the backspace and all it does is put that particular fraze on the same line as a sentance! When I hit enter to put that particparticular fraze on a seperate line it just puts that stupid "tab" back in there! Any suggestions would certainly be appreciated! Thanks in advance!
