Under Windows 10, you can run "Backup and Restore" (part of the Control Panel
application), then choose the option to create a system image.

I haven't done this, but the backup tool is described as having come from
Windows 7, so I wouldn't expect Microsoft 
Edge to be involved in any way.

How do you create a back up image on windows 10 without Microsoft
edge interfearing?  I can't seem to get the image to work.
